El Festival de Sundance retoma su formato presencial
Del 19 al 29 de enero se dará cita uno de los festivales más conocidos de Estados Unidos, el Festival de Sundance en la que habrá participación española, se proyectará Mamacruz, la tercera película de la venezolana Patricia Ortega. MAMACRUZ está protagonizada por Kiti Mánver. Completan el reparto Inés Benítez, Silvia Acosta, Mari Paz Sayago y Pepe Quero, entre otros, y narra la historia de una abuela que accidentalmente se topa con unas imágenes porno en la tableta de su nieta y esto provoca un cambio en su vida que la lleva a reencontrarse con su sexualidad ya olvidada.
MAMACRUZ es una comedia íntima luminosa, alegre y vitalista. Un coming of age de la tercera edad que es un homenaje a las madres y a las abuelas que deciden tomar las riendas de su propio destino. Un homenaje, en definitiva, a cada ser humano que defiende su identidad y sus sueños, más allá de los dogmas establecidos.
El guion de la película está escrito por Patricia Ortega y José Ortuño (Ánimas, ¿Dónde está Marta?). Además se podrá ver lo nuevo de William Oldroyd (Lady Macbeth). A continuación la lista de las películas que compiten en las diferentes secciones del festival
